Introduction
We are pleased to cordially invite you to participate in the scientific conference “Labuda’s days”, traditionally organized for the seventh time and dedicated to an eminent Slovak biologist RNDr. Milan Labuda, DrS., which will be held in Congress Centre Academia Stara Lesna from June 16 – 19, 2025.
We welcome contributions to the following fields: virology, microbiology, zoology, ecology, epidemiology, parasitology

Oral presentations and posters
The plenary lectures held by invited speakers are scheduled for 30 minutes, the other oral presentations for 15 minutes including time for discussion. Presentations should be prepared in PowerPoint. The maximum poster size is 100 cm x 130 cm (width x height). Official languages of the presentations are English / Slovak / Czech; slides of oral presentations and posters should be in English. The programme and the book of abstracts will be received by all participants at the registration desk. The organizers reserve the right to select the form of presentation in agreement with the author.PROGRAMME

Abstracts
Conference abstracts will be published in a scientific proceedings volume with an ISBN. They will not undergo language proofreading; authors are responsible for the linguistic quality. Please follow the instructions below when preparing your abstract:
- Language - English
- Structure: Authors provide first name and surname. Underline the presenting author and include their email address. Affiliations: List the names and addresses of all co-authors.
- Content: No subdivision into introduction, materials and methods, results, etc.
Length: Maximum of 3,000 characters without spaces..
Do not include tables or images.
- Prepare the text as a Word document.
- Name the file after the presenting author (example: Kocianova.doc).
- Font: Times New Roman, size 12.
- Line spacing: 1.5, with 2 cm margins on all sides, and align text to the left.
- Each registered participant may present a maximum of two contributions.
- Send abstracts as an email attachment to: labudovedni@gmail.com with the subject "VII. LD". Indicate whether the contribution is a poster or an oral presentation.
