Transportation

For participants ariving at Vienna Airport or travelling from Vienna, a shuttle bus operates regularly between Vienna Airport and Bratislava, serving both the Central Bus Station Nivy and the main railway station, or between Vienna and Bratislava Central Bus Station.

You can travel to Poprad by bus from the Central Bus Station Nivy in Bratislava.
Alternatively, from the Central Bus Station Nivy, you can take trolleybus number 40 (stop: Autobusová stanica Nivy) to Bratislava's main railway station, where trains to Poprad are available.

From Poprad to Stará Lesná (stop: Stará Lesná, žel. zastávka), take a bus No. 804 .

Alternatively:

1. From Poprad, transfer to Starý Smokovec by tram No. 183. From Starý Smokovec take bus No. 824 to Stará Lesná (stop: Stará Lesná, rekreačný areál). Hotel Academia is approximately 450 m from the bus stop.
2. From Starý Smokovec, you can also take tram No. 184, or buses No. 834 or 844 to Stará Lesná (stop: Stará Lesná, žel. zastávka). Hotel Academia is approximately 1,7 km from the bus/train stop.
